Dr. Baker is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry and has been practicing for 31 years. While his specialty is fitting the “hard to fit” contact lens patient, he is passionate about finding the best solution for each individual patient. Our office use’s cutting edge technology in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases. His compassionate demeanor and well trained staff work together with a “team approach“creating an inviting atmosphere for patients.
Dr. Baker retired from the United States Air Force Reserve in August of 2017, after 20 years of service (3 years active duty, 17 years reserve). Some of his memorabilia is displayed in the office. For the past 10 years he has served his community on the Placer County Stand down in ROSEVILLE. Providing eye care for homeless veterans.
Dr. Baker is married to the love of his life, Robin for 39 years. They have four children and 13 grand children. When he’s not at work they both enjoy time with grand children. Dr Baker loves wood turning, occasionally his projects are displayed in the office.
